Bulky Waste Collection Uplift

Bulky Waste Collection Uplift

The service is for oversized items which will not fit in a standard wheelie bin. It is not an excess waste collection service for disposal/collection of black bags for example. Please see our FAQ page for more information.

For all other latest updates during Coronavirus, please follow this link to our Waste and Recycling information page.

Before disposing of any bulky items outside, please consider whether they can be reused. You can donate usable items to local charity organisations:

  • National re-use This phone line and website service easily allow you to pass on household items to be used again. The re-use phone line works with community-based reuse organisations, local authorities and partners across Scotland to provide the public with a free collection service for unwanted items.

  • Alloa Community Enterprises - 01259 928081 (free uplift)

  • Household Waste Recycling Centre - you can dispose of a variety of items, free of charge, at our Household Waste Recycling Centre

Clackmannanshire Council ordinarily provides a 'bulky waste collection uplift' service for the removal of household waste that is too big to fit into your bin (not excess bagged waste). Examples of the type of waste might include broken furniture, domestic appliances, carpets, cardboard etc.
